We invite you to join with groups all over the world for Kulanu Across the Globe, an event celebrating global Jewish communities from Friday, November 15th through Sunday, November 17th, 2019.
By participating in this first-time event in honor of our 25th anniversary, your group will be able to download a D’var Torah, readings, stories, photos, and videos that illustrate Jewish life in isolated, emerging, and returning Jewish communities around the globe. With the help of these free, thought-provoking materials, we hope you will select a program to take place Friday night, Saturday, or Sunday exploring the growth of communities in places like Uganda, Madagascar, Guatemala, Indonesia, and many more.
From unique religious practices to local liturgical melodies to the joys and struggles of these isolated groups who feel so connected to other Jews, we want to raise awareness about Jewish communities around the globe. Now more than ever, it’s time we celebrated that there are Jews on all continents who represent every ethnicity possible. Our shared traditions and beliefs connect us across great distances and cultural divides.
